Neck Lift (Nefertiti Lift)
The vertical muscles, called platysmal band muscles that run from the base of the neck to the jaw, continuously pull down on the lower face. This repeated movement can over time cause the skin to become saggy and a loss of jawline definition.
This procedure involves careful placement of multiple injections of botulinum toxin horizontally along the lower jawline and vertically down the side of the neck along the platysmal band muscles. Relaxing the muscles in this area can help refine the jawline and also prevents these muscles from pulling down resulting in an ‘upward lifting effect’, achieving around a 15% to 20% lift.
Procedure Time
Following a holistic, full face consultation, the actual procedure will take approximately 30 to 40 mins.
On Set of Results
Following the procedure you will be able to see the results within two to three weeks.
Possible Side Effects
Immediately after the procedure there may be slight swelling and/or bruising, difficulty swallowing but this should clear up within a week.
Duration of Results
The effect of your neck lift treatment can last up to 6 months.
